(TRAPPER MINE
August 15, 2011
Mr. Robert Zuber
Environmental Protection Specialist
Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Mr. Zuber:
Re: Trapper Mining Inc., Permit No. C-81 -010, Minor Revision MR-217
Add Deep Wells to Water Monitoring_ Map M -52; Adjust Bonding Costs
Please fmd enclosed duplicate copies of permit revision MR -217. The intent of this minor
revision is to remove four monitor wells from NOI -CX- 2005 - 189 -06 and place them in the
above - referenced permit application package. This will allow us to proceed with a bond release
application for the NOI.
This revision includes a revised M -52 map that shows the location of the four deep monitoring
wells and an attached table that gives our bond estimate to reclaim the four wells in the future.
The attached table would be included in Appendix A and would add a small amount to our
overall bond estimate, although no new bond rider would be required because there is enough
current bond to cover the reclamation requirements of the four monitoring wells.
These monitoring wells will not be part of Trapper's routine monitoring program. Rather, they
will remain in place until such time as Trapper's owners have renewed interest in exploring
underground mining potential.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the enclosed information.
Sincerely,
Forrest Luke
Environmental Manager
FVL [M/Permit Revisions/MR217 Cover Letter.doc]
c Rob Zuber -two copies w/ attachments
Wendy Reynolds, BLM w/ attachments
File 109.2.3.4 w/o attachments
Revisions File
P.O.
