EXHIBIT J - Vegetation Information <br />6.4.10 The Natural Resource Conservation Service has reported on the vegetation found. <br />Present vegetations on the two soil types are: <br />a) the Colby soil on the south end shows approximately 75% ground cover. The <br />grasses found in this area are roughly 50% Blue Grama, 30% Buffalo Grass, 10% <br />Western Wheat Grass, 5% Sand Chop seed, and the remaining 5% is Sand Sagebrush, <br />Three Awn, and Snake Weed; <br />b) the Canyon Rock out crop soils on the steeper slopes is approximately 50% <br />covered. Found in this area are 40% Side Oat Grama, 15% Little Blue Stem, 15% <br />Western Wheat Grass, 5% Sand Drop seed, and the remaining 25% is made up of a <br />mixture of Yucca, Sand Sagebrush, Three Awn, and broadleaf plants. <br />The Knodel site is currently rangeland with a stocking rate of 12 to 15 acres per animal <br />unit. Our intention is to return the site to rangeland. <br />r <br />/8 <br />
