Emergency Response and Management Plan <br />Rule 8 <br />VI. MINE EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION PLAN <br />The purpose of this plan is to comply with 30 C.F.R Part.49.9, and provide for notification <br />procedures for the San Juan Mine Rescue Coop (SJMRC) and DRMS Rule 8. SJMRC is a <br />mine rescue responder for the Wildcat Mining Corporation facility. Wildcat has provided mine <br />maps, plans, and other necessary information to SJMRC to provide mine rescue services in the <br />event of an emergency. <br />COMMAND CENTER <br />A Command Center will be established at the base of operation, which is where the people in <br />charge gather to plan and direct the rescue and recovery operation. The Command Center will <br />contain communication equipment, connected to the underground and surface phones.
