R ? INCORPORATED
I. ` ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENGINE 5ERvICES
STRATEGICALLY POSITIONED-TECH\ICALLYPREPARED
April 27, 2011
Mr. Wallace Erickson
Department of Natural Resources
Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman Street Suite 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Re: Amendment to CN -01 Wildcat Mining Corporation
112c1 -1 Application, CN -01, Wildcat Mining Corporation,
May Day Idaho Mine Complex, File No. M -1981 -185.
GEORGE M.L. ROBINSON,P.G.
j. ERICH RAUBER.P.E.
Dear 11. Erickson,
On 'behalf of Wildcat Mining Corporation ( "Wildcat Mining "), R Squared, Inc. is submitting a
request to amend the 112d -1 Application CN -01, Wildcat Mining Corporation, May Day Idaho
Mine Complex, File No: M- 1981 -185. In consultation with the Colorado Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety ( "DRMS "),. Wildcat Mining has determined that part of its
April 18, 2011 adequacy response will constitute an amendment to its 112d -1 Application, CN-
01. More specifically, in responseto comtrlents by DRMS and La Plata County, Wildcat Mining
has elected to relocate its base of operations from an area near the historical Idaho Mill to an .area
near the .entrance to the. Complex and closer to Highway 124, While this relocated base 'Of
operations will include approximately 1 acre, Wildcat Mining has at the same time reduced
approximately 1 acre of affected lands by removing from its application parts of an existing U.S.
Forest Service road. As a result, the amendment does not increase the total affected area to the
submitted permit application.
Wildcat Mining understands the permit decision date will - be extended to June 21 2011 to allow
for the amendment process. In addition, Wildcat Mining understands this matter will be
presented to the Mined Land Reclamation Board for action during its July 13 -14, 2011 meeting.
If there are any questions or comments regarding the submitted materials please contact:
Yours truly,
Mr. George M.L.
