5. Proceed to bail or pump one casing volume of water from the well; take field <br />parameter measurements when one casing volume has been 'removed. <br />6. When using a pump without volume control, pump water into a container of <br />known volume to estimate when one casing volume has been removed. Use <br />Teflon bailer to take sample for field parameter measurement. <br />7. Remove a minimum of three casing volumes of water from the well. Test for the <br />field parameters as each successive casing volume is removed. <br />8. Cease the purging operation when the field parameters are approximately the <br />same for two successive casing volumes, or when ten casing volumes of water <br />have been removed. <br />8.
