• <br />Robinson Lake Operating Plan Climax Molybdenum Company <br />Version: Ri Permit M- 1977 -493 <br />• Operate the Robinson Lake Pump Station to remove water from Robinson Lake, utilizing <br />the installed spare pump to increase pumping capacity as needed. <br />• Operate Warren's Pump Station to remove water from the Robinson Lake basin into the <br />Tenmile Creek basin. <br />• In the event of a long -term power failure, Climax will mobilize a generator(s) to the Site <br />to power pumps as needed. <br />• In the event of catastrophic failure of one or more of the pump systems, Climax will <br />mobilize portable diesel - powered pumps to the Site to provide adequate pumping <br />capacity <br />Following any storm event, snowmelt events, and /or combination of such events that has <br />caused the reservoir to exceed operational thresholds, Climax will take action to return the lake <br />level to those thresholds within 30 days from when the threshold is exceeded using all <br />reasonably available measures. If the available onsite pumping capacity is not adequate to <br />return the water level in the lake to below the appropriate upper operating limit following such an <br />occurrence, the necessary equipment and appropriate actions will be employed to return <br />Robinson Lake to the threshold level within 30 days of the event. No process water will be <br />transferred into Robinson Lake until the water level in the lake is returned to a level at or below <br />the appropriate operational threshold. <br />8.0 REPORTING <br />An annual report will be prepared that documents the flood storage and release status for the <br />year. Climax will provide a copy of this report to the Eagle Park Reservoir Company and the <br />Clinton Ditch & Reservoir Company concurrently with its provision to the Division of <br />Reclamation Mining and Safety. <br />EPP — Appendix D <br />August 2011 6 <br />
