Annual Report: M- 1988 -081
Phil Sheridan Lode- Owner- Operator:
Harry D. Covey
Located at 479 County road 83 in Boulder County, Colorado
On September 6 2010, a wildfire swept through the foothills West of Boulder, which
destroyed 170 homes.
My home at 479 County Road 83 was burned to the ground along with some mining
equipment that was stored in my garage and in the yard.
The devastation of such a fire is beyond the imagination of anyone who has not
experienced such a disaster.
While the mine itself was not harmed, the plans and expectations for development and
operation were delayed until the operation can be re- scheduled.
All records (assay reports, maps, past history and mined mineral specimens) were lost in
the fire. Some of the trees in the permitted area were burned and the power poles in the
area were replaced by Public Service. (Who left a mess of slash and cut timber on the
property.). An 8'X 12' Tough -Shed was installed near the gate to house any new
equipment that might be acquired.
No new disturbance or surface alteration was done during the past year and while my
copies of the mine site map were destroyed, the map submitted last year is still valid and
no new map should be required. Please note existence of the new Tough Shed.
Enclosed is the check for $86.00 to cover the annual fee.
Sincerely:
Harry Covey
1600 fain
C r ie. I CO. go-516
