General Shale Brick, Inc. is filing this Annual Report providing a Notice of Intent to <br />Continue Mining Operations at Apache Mine located in El Paso County, Colorado. The <br />mine is on active status, operating more than 180 days per year. The mine has a phased <br />reclamation plan. <br />Operations (Current Year) <br />Clay mining and overburden removal operations continue in accordance with the mine <br />plan. The permitted acreage is approximately 1,691 acres and the maximum allowable <br />disturbed acreage remains at 85 acres. No additional were disturbed this period. Current <br />disturbance is approximately 69.8 acres. No additional acres were reclaimed during this <br />reporting period. Approximately 13 acres are ready for reclamation release. <br />Operations (Next Year) <br />Mining operations in 2011 -2012 will disturb no additional acres. <br />Bonding <br />Deemed adequate at this time. <br />
