Seed selection
criteria were based on climate and elevation ranges within the leased area. All seed tags will be retained
until bond release and made available for inspection upon request by the permitting agencies
•
*This reflects the drilled seeding rate of 40 PLS Ibs/ac, tt nee to be dou tf broadc
A local source of seeds should be used wherever possible.
Seed shall be broadcast at the specified application rate on a rough, prepared seed bed and covered using
a hand rake, drag bar, chain link, packer wheels or similar equipment. If seed is drilled, one -half the
broadcast rate will be used. If an organic cover material is applied, such as straw, then clean, certified
weed -free straw or material will be used.
Revegetation efforts on the disturbed areas will be considered satisfactory when:
• Soil erosion resulting from the operation has been stabilized; and
• A vegetative cover with desirable species composition exists at least equal to that present prior
to the disturbance.
Appendices Page 6 of 8
