<br />Removal of Tie - Across Haul Road from Permit Boundary
<br />Dear Routt County Planning Department:
<br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 118,
<br />Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on July 27, 2011, a permit revision application for a permit to conduct coal
<br />mining operations, Permit No. C- 1982 -057 by Seneca Coal Company, LLC, was considered complete for the purposes of filing
<br />All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules and
<br />Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining initiate from this date of filing.
<br />The revision requests removal of the Tie - Across Haul Road from the permit boundary; it will be transferred to the Hayden
<br />Gulch Loadout permit.
<br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 9 miles South of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is
<br />further described as follows:
<br />T5N, R88W; All of Section 15; Portions of Sections 9, 10, 11, 14, 16, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 34, and 35
<br />T6N, R88W; Portions of Sections 14, 23 and 24
<br />T6N, R87W; Portions of Sections 17, 18, 19
<br />The above - mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Hayden Gulch, Hayden, Dunckley, and
<br />Mt. Harris.
<br />A copy of the revision application is available for public inspection at the Routt County Commissioners. For additional
<br />information, to provide written comments, or request an informal conference, contact the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
<br />Safety, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866 -3567, within thirty days after the last public
<br />notice in the Steamboat Pilot.
