Bottom 6 ", medium dense, brown/black, silty SAND (SM), mostly fine to 5.5 ft:
medium sand, little fine silt, few coarse sand, trace of tine gravel, no odor,
- COARSE ALLUVIUM -
:.
10 ft:
Very dense, black/tan/white, well graded SAND with gravel (SW), mostly fine
to medium sand, few coarse sand, little fine to coarse gravel, slightly moist,
no odor, poorly sorted.
- COARSE ALLUVIUM -
Medium dense, as above, except trace to few fine - coarse gravel, wet.
Dense, brown/tan, well graded SAND with gravel (SW), mostly medium sand,
little fine sand, few coarse sand, few to little fine - coarse gravel, mps= 1.25 ",
wet no odor, poorly sorted.
As above, trace of fines.
As above, mps =1.5"
Maximum particle size is determined by direct observation within the limitations of the sampler.
