Attention: Ms. Mary Rodriguez
Dear Ms. Rodriguez:
RE: Rocky Flat Gravel
Permit M-1982-129.
Enclosed is my check for $323.00.
During the past year, we have had no. gravel
production disturbances.
The Attorney General and Division II. Water
Court had several requests regarding solutions to
the problem they had discovered at the gravel pit.
I hope they are satisfied.
The Cuchara valley is covered with many ponds
provided when gravel was needed. All have little
fish for the grandchildren to catch! Only a few of
us have the right to the use of the water. I surely
hope all will have satisfactory solutions.
It is very dry - the meadows crunch under foot.
In addition some very LARGE rattlesnakes are hunting
for cool puddles. A few horses and puppies were too
curious, but no children have been injured.
We just keep working. It's no good to quit.
This year is heavy. Keep thinking good thoughts!
Enclosure
Thank you.
(Mrs.) L. Otto Goemmer -
