Pineda <br />Director <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) received your Notice of Intent (N01) <br />to conduct prospecting operations on July 26, 2011. The Division posted the non - confidential Public <br />Form 2 on the Office website on July 27, 2011 in accordance to the requirements of Rule 5.1.3. It is <br />noted in the cover letter that no aspect of the project other than the results of the exploration are <br />confidential. Any public comments or request for disclosure of information designated as confidential <br />regarding the NOI must be received by the office no later than ten (10) working days after the notice <br />was posted on the website. That date is August 9, 2011. <br />The Division will begin its review o the NOI and will contact you within twenty (20) working days of the <br />posting date (August 23, 2011) regarding any deficiencies or if the review indicates the proposed <br />activities are considered to be mining, rather than prospecting. <br />Per a Memo of Understanding (MOU), the Division will be contacting the Bureau of Land Management <br />to coordinate review efforts.
