The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) received your Notice of Intent (N01)
to conduct prospecting operations on July 26, 2011. The Division posted the non - confidential Public
Form 2 on the Office website on July 27, 2011 in accordance to the requirements of Rule 5.1.3. It is
noted in the cover letter that no aspect of the project other than the results of the exploration are
confidential. Any public comments or request for disclosure of information designated as confidential
regarding the NOI must be received by the office no later than ten (10) working days after the notice
was posted on the website. That date is August 9, 2011.
The Division will begin its review o the NOI and will contact you within twenty (20) working days of the
posting date (August 23, 2011) regarding any deficiencies or if the review indicates the proposed
activities are considered to be mining, rather than prospecting.
Per a Memo of Understanding (MOU), the Division will be contacting the Bureau of Land Management
to coordinate review efforts. Per the MOU, BLM must concur on the reclamation liability bond as part of
the review process.
