1) The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the site as part of sites to be inspected during the fiscal years 2010 - <br />2011.The site used to be a 112 construction materials permit that has been in rclamation since 2002. <br />2) In December 2004, the MLRD Board released 104 acres to the Colorad State Parks. The only portion of the site that is not <br />released the portion of the pit area long the wet side of the Arkansas River and the office area east of the acres released to <br />State. Parks .The pit high walls along the Wesy side of the river had been sealed with a clay liner and approved by SEO. With <br />the exception of a small water along the East side of the pit floors and wet had ares along the north west side, the pit floors <br />were dry.The pit slopes were slightly vegetated and stable and no erosion features were noted. <br />3) Permit sign was displayed at the access to the west pit bridge.The current financial warranty in the amount of $343,323 is <br />more than adequate to cover the existing reclamtion liability.
