112837 -1 <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Min- <br />ing and Safety proposes to Approve the <br />Withdrawal of Technical Revision.Application <br />No. 85 (FR-85) for the Colowyo Mine (Permit <br />No. C- 1981 -019), submitted by Colowyo <br />Coal Company. The operator requested the <br />withdrawal of the reclamation cost estimate <br />information presented in TR -85 on June 29, <br />2011, . The reclamation costs were updated <br />with approval of technical revision No. 81, <br />. that the Division proposed to approve on <br />June 29, 2011, as well <br />The Colowyo Coal Mine is a surface coal <br />mine located in Moffat County, with the <br />'southern portion extending into Rio Blanco <br />County. Coal interest is Federal, State and <br />private, and the surface affected is. Federal, <br />State, and private land. The permit area en- <br />compasses approximately 12,250.95 acres. <br />This proposed decision is based on the find- <br />ing that the request for the proposed opera- <br />tion has been formally requested to be with- <br />drawn by the operator. <br />Copies of the proposed decision, including <br />stipulations, are on file for public inspection <br />at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br />Minirig and Safety, Room 215, Centennial <br />Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Col- <br />orado 80203. Persons with an interest that <br />may be adversely affected by the proposed <br />decision may request a formal hearing before <br />the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the <br />proposed decision. Such request must be <br />made within ten (10) days of the initial publi- <br />cation of this notice, must be in writing, and <br />must state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and the objections to <br />the proposed decision. <br />Published in the Craig Daily Press <br />Publication Date: July 15, 2011 <br />10269644 <br />
