The Division found the application complete on July 11, 2011. <br />The application requests release of up to 60% of the reclamation performance bond that is <br />applicable to approximately 48 acres of land disturbed by drill holes and related access <br />roads. The bond release area is located in the vicinity of Dry Fork of Minnesota Creek and the <br />West Flatiron. The land surface of the bond release area has private and federal ownership. <br />A bond release inspection is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19, 2011 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the <br />office of the' West Elk Mine. The purpose of the inspection will be to verify that Phase I <br />reclamation (borehole sealing, backfilling, grading, and drainage re- establishment) has been <br />completed in the bond release area.
