According to Dennis Jones of Seneca Coal Company, this pumping
occurred in June. No evidence of pumping activities was observed in the rail loop pond and the pond was not
discharging at the time of the inspection.
OTHER (SPECIFY):
This was a partial coal inspection of the Hayden Gulch Loadout conducted by Jason Musick of CDRMS. The
loadout site was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the inspection. Reclamation activities have begun on
the site with the tear down and scraping of the loadout facilities.
RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3:
Tear down and scraping of the coal loadout facilities was occurring at the site during the inspection. No activities
were being conducted outside of the approved disturbance areas with all activities isolated to the locations of the
structures. Backfilling, grading and topsoil redistribution has not begun and Dennis Jones of Seneca Coal
Company was unsure if those activities would take place. No problems were noted with the activities being
conducted at the time of the inspection.
