AMES/Lonestar: Work activities were paused after the shift on Friday (7/1/2011) in observance of the
Independence Day holiday. Work activities are scheduled to resume on Wednesday (7/6/2011).
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES and PROGRESS:
I) EARTHWORKS
A) Subgrade Preparation
1) VLF
Subgrade acceptance was not performed during the week. Previous subgrade acceptance is
shown on Figure 1.
B) Slope Contouring
1) VLF
Slope contouring performed between stations H6 +00 ( + / -) and H11 +00 ( + / -), approximately 0
to 400 feet right of centerline. Slope contouring was performed using a CAT D -6 LGP dozer.
C) Cut to Fill
1) VLF
No work performed during the week.
