E. <br />Principal Engineer <br />FJH:dd <br />I copy sent w/enclosures <br />Please find enclosed (a) five copies of our report for our permeability study, <br />(b) five copies of our letter regarding the installation of the observation hole <br />required by Lake County, (c) a copy of the State perrnit for the observation hole <br />•and (d) a copy of the letter to the State showing the summery log and construction <br />of the observation hole they require. <br />Note the last line of the first paragraph of the State perrnit letter requires <br />the observation hole be plugged or permanently permitted within one year It <br />takes several weeks to get a permanent permit which would have held up placing <br />the hole, therefore, we choose to notify the State of the construction of the <br />hole. We are available to help Leadville Mining & Milling Corporation to <br />permanently permit the observation hole, if desired. <br />Thank you for retaining our firm for the permeability study.
