Geomembrane installation was performed in the area shown in Figure <br />3. Approximately 65,727 square feet of 80mil LLDPE was deployed using a John Deere 200 <br />excavator and a John Deere 544 front -end loader with spreader -bar attachments. Subgrade <br />inspected and approved by AMEC and Lonestar representatives prior to geomembrane <br />deployment (see Figure 3). Approximately 3,104 linear feet of seam was fusion welded using <br />four fusion welding machine. Eight destructive test samples were marked during fusion <br />seaming. Approximately 631 linear feet of seam was extrusion welded using two extrusion <br />welding machine. Two destructive test samples were marked during extrusion seaming. All <br />destructive tests performed were within project specifications. Non - destructive testing was <br />performed for fusion welded seams. Repairs were performed using the extrusion welding <br />method for all marked defects. Vacuum testing was performed for all extrusion welded seams <br />and repairs. <br />Geomembrane Exposure <br />1) VLF <br />No geomembrane was exposed during the week. <br />Anchor Trench <br />1) VLF <br />Anchor trench backfill was performed between stations H2O +50 ( + / -) and H23 +00 ( + / -) using <br />John Deere 35D excavator, a skid steer loader, and laborers. An AMEC representative observed <br />and inspected the anchor trench backfill.
