recorded notes, it is essential that complete contemporaneous <br />records be kept that will: <br />• Identify the property, property owner, and date and <br />time of the survey. <br />• Identify the person making the survey, and the operator. <br />• Determine the condition of the structure, document any <br />pre - existing defects and positively relate any <br />photographic or separate tape records to the body of <br />the report. (Figure 55 shows typical pre -blast <br />inspection forms that can be employed for the written <br />methods of defect recording.) <br />• Assign identification numbers to all photographic <br />negatives as they are exposed, retaining these numbers <br />through to the final report.
