adjacent disturbed areas appeared to be functioning properly. Minimal water flow into Pond SG -1 was <br />tested for pH; it was measured to have a pH 7.9. <br />A violation for the exceedance was not issued by DRMS or OSM since the Colorado Water Quality <br />Control Division regulates CDPS outfalls. DRMS will follow up with WQCD and the operator to see if the <br />pH exceedance constituted a violation. <br />The ground and roads were wet from the recent rain fall. The roadside ditches along Sylvester Gulch <br />Road contained rock -socks and rigid silt fencing which were recently been installed. These sediment and <br />velocity control measures were functioning properly as evident by the trapped sediment. These areas <br />will need to be cleaned out as soon as weather permits. <br />Action Items <br />DRMS will follow up with Colorado Water Quality Control Division regarding the pH exceedance from <br />the SG -1 pond. <br />
