6 (FORM 2 - Public filing)
8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of
vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth:
No topsoil will be disturbed other than directly at each drill collar. All topsoil within this
small area (2' by 2') will be saved adjacent to the site and replaced after drilling.
9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures):
Drill holes (core) will be in granite and kimberlite rock and no aquifers or artesian flow is
expected to be encountered. Any loose cutting will be returned to the drill hole. Holes will
be permanently plugged according to Rule 5.4.2 (5).
10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for
specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications.
All surficial disturbances including drill holes and incidental disturbances attributed to vehicle access will be reclaimed. All surficial disturbances will be graded, raked, or otherwise treated (surface preparation) to
return the disturbed areas to approximate original contour. Areas exhibiting compaction will be treated to relieve compaction prior to revegetation activities, Reclamation will begin immediately following the
tpmninalinn nf drift; of aarh aria with wear.. p ramenn Fnllnwing a rdara praparaann raprthamfafiva anil wimples will ha taken In drhwnina the naafi Inc fartll]Mkm It is likely that fartilbatinn will nor ha rarprlrnd
but if it is the ferfilizerwill be applied at rates commensurate with laboratory recommendations.
