As we discussed, CAM has added ten acres the south boundary of the <br />original permit area. A Class III Cultural Resources Inventory for the original project area was <br />completed by Grand River Institute on 5/25/2010 and was reviewed by Shina Duvall formerly of <br />your office (see CHS #58180). <br />In order for us to approve this application, we are required to make a finding that "the proposed <br />operations will not adversely affect any publicly owned park or place listed on or those places <br />eligible for listing, as determined by the SHPO, on the National Register of Historic Places, <br />unless approved jointly by the Board and the Federal, State, or local agency with jurisdiction <br />over the park or place" We request your evaluation and concurrence in order to make this <br />finding, pursuant to the May 1991 Memorandum of Understating (MOU) between our agencies. <br />Enclosed is the recent Class III Cultural Resources Inventory of 10 additional acres for the <br />proposed project which was conducted on April 28, 201 lby Grand River Institute. Please advise <br />us if you require additional information.
