FIRESTONE <br />Mr. Garrett Varra, VP <br />Varra Companies, Inc. <br />8120 Gage Street <br />Frederick, CO 80516 <br />re: OMLR Permit # M- 1984 -036 (Dakolios Pit) <br />Permit Amendment <br />Dear Mr. Varra: <br />The Town of Firestone recently received notice from the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, <br />and Safety regarding a proposed amendment to your State issued mining permit. The Town has <br />reviewed the materials sent by the State and the additional information you provided us. Our review <br />of the materials provided indicates that the Towns interests on and adjacent to the permit site are not <br />adversely. affected. Specifically, the Town has interest in a storm drainage easement along the east <br />property line of the permit site as well as the public right -of -way abutting the permit site to the south <br />(Zinnia Avenue/WCR 26). <br />Varra Companies continues to be a good neighbor to the Town of Firestone.
