Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures):
Each drill hole will be back filled with bentonite pellets. Sediments will be
mixed with concrete at the top to form a ten foot plug which will prevent
surface water infiltration. Each hole will be plugged completely before the next
hole is drilled so that only one hole will be open at a time. The drill rig will
remain at drill hole locations through completion of DRMS abandonment
procedures.
10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for
specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications.
There will be no new disturbance. All activity will be on existing drill pads and access
roads.
11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition:
All access routes are by existing roads which will not require reclamation. Access roads
which the Forest Service has designated tor decommissioning will be completed according
berms or placement of obstacles at the intersection of decommissioned roads with road
888.3A.
