Compliance With Mine Plan NA -Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> R -Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste Y -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection conducted by Janet Binns of CDRMS.The mine is a surface mine whose <br /> permit was revoked by the Division in February 1984,and the reclamation bond was forfeited.No mining <br /> facilities or personnel remain on site. The Division conducted the remaining reclamation using the remaining <br /> bond monies. All reclamation bond monies have been spent on reclamation activities on the site. <br /> Reclamation was conducted in 1993 throughl995, with some additional maintenance work conducted in <br /> 2000. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05❑❑Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br /> Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The Pond adjacent to the main entry gate is filled with sediment and vegetated with volunteer species. Ditches <br /> throughout the site are down cut,but do not appear to be actively down cutting further. Some sediment continues <br /> to move off the slopes,as observed by sediment fans located at the bottom of the revegetated slopes. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br /> The Division revoked the mine permit in 1984. All reclamation bond monies have been used for <br /> reclamation projects on this site. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15,Rule 3: <br /> The vegetation throughout the site and general vicinity of the mine is very dry. Grasses have already dried <br /> up. When summer precipitation begins,hopefully warm season species will show some growth. No new gullies <br /> appear to have formed. No slumping or other land failures were observed. No domestic grazing appears to have <br /> been conducted on the reclaimed site on the East Pit,West Pit or Chen's hill. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15❑[]Vegetative Cover;Timing: <br /> The mine site and vegetation is extremely dry.
