OBSERVATIONS <br />PERMIT #: M -1992 -060 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: RCO <br />INSPECTION DATE: June 23, 2011 <br />This was routine inspection performed by the Division as part of its monitoring of Construction Materials 110c <br />permits. The site was not active at the time of the inspection. The site was identified by the required permit <br />ID sign posted at the entrance gate, which was locked at the time of the inspection. Access to the site for the <br />inspection was gained on foot. <br />Availability Of Records: <br />Annual reports are filed each year, and from those reports it appears that nothing has occurred at all for many <br />years. It is not clear if more reclamation work is intended, since the operator makes no notations about <br />planned work. If there is more reclamation work to do, such as further backfilling or more revegetation it <br />should be noted in the reports. Alternatively, the operator should note in the reports whether backfilling is <br />actually completed. At this time this is not a problem. <br />Backfilling and Grading: <br />Assuming that backfilling and grading are complete, the site appears stable and level and fairly clean. The <br />operator must continue to ensure that no trash or contaminants are imported to the site as backfill. <br />Hydrologic Balance: <br />There is surface water on the site in the form of a creek, which is approved in the permit. <br />Reclamation Success: <br />Backfilling has produced a firm, level site. No further grading is needed at this time.
