Box I <br />Meeker, CO 81641 <br />Re: Deserado Mine (Permit No. C- 1981 -018) <br />Permit Revision Application No. 7 (PR -7) <br />200 Acre Expansion of Mine Permit Area <br />Dear Rio Blanco County Commissioners: <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve <br />a revision application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Blue Mountain <br />Energy, Inc on February 14, 2011, for the Deserado Mine. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice by <br />the Division in the Rio Blanco Herald - Times. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 7 miles Northeast of Rangely, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, and 12, T2N, R101W, 6th PM, all in Rio Blanco County; Portions of <br />Sections 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 34, 35, and 36, T3N, R101W, 6th PM; All of Sections 22, 29, 32, and 33, <br />T3N, R101W, 6th PM, all in Rio Blanco County. <br />Copies of the revision application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Rio Blanco County Clerk and Recorder.
