A map <br />depicting the location of the headgate is attached as Exhibit 1. <br />v) Decreed source of water: Surface flows in East Creek, tributary to <br />the Gunnison River <br />vi) Appropriation date: September 18, 1888 <br />vii) Total amount decreed to structure: 1.43 c.f.s. absolute under the <br />senior right to be changed under this claim, of which co- applicant <br />McCurter owns 50 %, or 0.715 c.f.s. An additional 1.16 c.f.s. was <br />decreed to this structure as the Star Enlargement of the East Creek <br />Ditch in Case No. CA5812, of which co- applicant owns 50 %, or <br />0.58 c.f.s. <br />viii) Decreed use or uses: Irrigation, groundwater recharge <br />B. Amount of water to be changed: Applicant's portion of the East Creek <br />senior ditch right has been used to irrigate 40 of the 80 acres historically <br />irrigated with the East Creek Ditch. A map depicting the historically <br />irrigated acreage, as well as.the acreage to be removed from irrigation is <br />attached as Exhibit 2. Applicant will remove 37 of those acres from <br />irrigation, resulting in dry up credits of 0.67 c.f.s. A table attached as <br />Exhibit 3 sets out the historic consumptive use associated with the use of <br />Applicants' portion of the East Creek Ditch senior right. <br />C. Detailed description of change: <br />i) historic consumptive use credits from the dry up of 37 acres under <br />the East Creek Ditch equates to 0.67 c.f.s., or 36.89 a.f. annually. <br />A table setting out the monthly historic consumptive use figure for <br />the East Creek Ditch right for the entire 80 acres is attached as <br />Exhibit 4. The average monthly historic consumptive use of the <br />East Creek Ditch associated with the 37 acres to be removed from <br />irrigation is as follows: <br />ii) Applicants request to change 0.67 c.f.s. (36.89 a.f. annually) under <br />the East Creek Ditch from irrigation to augmentation to support the <br />plan for augmentation requested in paragraph 6, below. The <br />
