Rule 2.05.3(4) Ponds, Impoundments, and Diversions
1. The application remains inadequate. CCC explains that runoff will be pumped around
the temporary spoil pile that will block Collom Gulch, however it is the professional
opinion of DRMS staff that the area where the runoff will collect can be described as
an impoundment and that a design is needed.
Rule 2.05.6(3)(a) Protection of the Hydrologic Balance
1. Please refer to question 2.04.7(3) above.
2. See Tom Kaldenbach response.
3. Please refer to question 2.05.3(4) above.
Rule 4.05.2 Water Quality Standards
1. The response is adequate.
2. The response is inadequate. Please request a Small Area Exemption as part of this
application, including the appropriate information in the text narrative, mapping, and
modeling.
Rule 4.05.3 Diversions and Conveyances of Less than One Square Mile
1. The response is adequate.
2. The response is adequate.
3. The response is adequate.
4. The response is inadequate. The drainage area for Tributary 3 still appears to be
incomplete on Map 41 B. Please revise Map 41 B or provide further discussion on this
basin and its relation to haul road drainage.
5. The response is adequate.
Rule 4.05.4 Stream Channel Diversions /Relocations
1. The response is inadequate. More information is required for how vegetation will be
established on channel LCW.
Rule 4.05.5 Sediment Control Measures
1. No additional response was needed.
2
