Dear Mr. Thorson,
The Division is reviewing the Notice of Intent (NOI) named above, and has determined that the NOI is complex.
Because it will require more staff resources to complete the review, the decision date for the NOI has been extended.
Pursuant to Hard Rock/Metal Rule 5.1.3(c), the extension may be up to 60 calendar days.
The Division will contact you in regard to any deficiencies that must be corrected or for any additionally information
during the technical review. The prospecting project is on BLM- managed land, and the Division will coordinate its
review with the BLM.
As a reminder, there was no bond submitted with this NOI, which is a deficiency, but the Division will calculate a
bond amount for this NOI during the review period and notify you as to the amount.
