In the report of the inspection conducted onkpri126, 2011, the Division noted <br />that alterations had been made to the perimeter levee on the south and east sides of the site. The <br />alterations included raising the elevation of portions of the levee and adding larger riprap <br />material to the stream -side slope of the levee. <br />As you stated in your letter, Flatirons Company obtained approval of a Technical Revision prior <br />to doing major work on the levee. The Division defines a Technical Revision as a change in the <br />permit which does not have more than a minor effect upon the approved Reclamation Plan. A <br />Technical Revision must be submitted each time the Operator alters the Reclamation Plan. The <br />recent modifications to the levee were not covered under the previous Technical Revision. <br />Therefore, the Operator must submit a Technical Revision to account for the changes. Please <br />resubmit the levee construction plans and specifications in the form of a Technical Revision, <br />along with the required Technical Revision fee of $216.00.
