Winters hereby represents to the State of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, that the undersigned is the owner, one of the owners, or represents the owner of <br />the real property described in the table below, located in the County of Clear Creek and the State of Colorado. <br />As such, the undersigned hereby grants to the agents, employees, and contractors of the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety, Department of Natural Resources, State of Colorado, permission to enter upon such lands to <br />restore, reclaim, abate, control or prevent the adverse effects of past mining practices and to do all things <br />necessary or expedient to protect the public health, safety or general welfare. Such activities are in the public <br />interest. <br />Consent is given to enter upon the above-described property for the length of time necessary to safeguard the <br />following feature(s) in the manner described below. <br />Feature ID Type of Feature Closure Method Legal Description <br />Mincan014 Adit Bat Grate Pipe Bullion Queen No. 2 M.S. # 19466 <br />Inactive mine openings are inherently dangerous, unstable and subject to rapidly changing conditions. During the <br />construction phase such changing conditions may make it necessary to safeguard the opening(s) using an <br />appropriate alternative abatement method. <br />The landowner has an existing responsibility to insure that any abandoned or inactive mine openings located on <br />his/her properties are adequately safeguarded and all present and subsequent landowners are required to <br />maintain the mine closure after the work has been completed as outlined in C.R.S. 34-24-110(1). This <br />responsibility is unchanged by this consent to have these reclamation activities performed. <br />Your signature must be witnessed by a notary public.
