f
Azurite, Inc.
10001 CR 12 P.O. Box 338
Cotopaxi, Colorado 81223
719-9424178
June 16, 2011
-/Mr. Jared Ebert, Env. Specialist
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
1313 Sherman Street Rm 215
Denver, CO 80203
RECEIVED
JUN 17 2011
Msion of RedsoaW.
MWgaid8d*
RE: SILVER CLIFF PIT; M-2011-015 Adequacy Review #2 Response Letter
Exhibit C--Pre-mining and Mine Plan Map
1.) Please find marked up copies of Mine Plan Map showing Phases I and II taking
place north of the central drainage swale and Phases III and IV located in the
south of the drainage swale.
Exhibit D-Mining Plan
2.) Find attached Weed Control and Monitoring Plan for the Silver Cliff Pit site.
County Weed Control officials were on site June 16 to inspect the site and advise
on weed control methods.
3.) Seifert Enterprises notes that the access road will be bonded for reclamation.
Exhibit G-Water Information
4.) Seifert Enterprises will not retain collected stormwater for longer than 72 hours
after a storm event.
Exhibit L---Reclamation Costs
5.) Item #9 statement was referring to the total maximum exposed mine bench face
that may be exposed at full mine development. Statements in items # 16 and #28
were referencing particular reclamation tasks of mine face removal via
backfilling, compaction, and re-grading. Those tasks will typically be performed
when working with at least 200' of run. For purposes of bonding, I would think
that 800 feet of mine bench (that exposure at maximum mine development) would
be used.
I hope that the above information is sufficient for Division consideration by June 20''. I
am sending hard copy of this correspondence and attachments to you via overnight
mailing. Please contact me if you have any outstanding issues that should be addressed
prior to the decision date. Thank you.
Sincerely,
S `5
Kenneth S. Klco
Azurite, Inc.
