The isolated find site
numbers are 5MN.4712 and 5MN.4713. The five sites were recorded between 1977 and 2001 with the below
listed determinations of eligibility. We recommend re-survey of sites after ten years, so our recommendation
is that all five sites should be resurveyed.
5MN.4394 Field not eligible 1977
5MN.4709 Officially need data 1996
5MN.4710 Officially eligible 1996
5MN.4711 Officially not eligible 1996
5MN.5652 Field not eligible 2001
Our files contain incomplete information for this area, as most of Colorado has not yet been inventoried for
cultural resources. As a result, there is the possibility that as yet unidentified cultural resources exist within the
proposed permit area.
Should human remains be discovered during mining activities, the requirements under State law CRS 24-80 part
13 apply and must be followed.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment. If we may be of further assistance, please contact Dan Corson,
Intergovernmental Services Director, at (303) 866-2673 or dan.corsongchs.state.co.us
Sincerely,
? 410# 6 , jl***&'?
1°v Edward C.
