Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />R - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br />NA - Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION - Rule 4.17: <br />A light layer of fugitive dust from road traffic was observed the morning of June 15th at 06:50 upon entering the <br />mine permit boundary from Routt County Road 27a. The dust was from the morning construction mobilization <br />and a water truck providing dust suppression was observed approximately 1 hour later as required by the permit. <br />No further problems were observed. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS - Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />All records were checked at the Peabody Sage Creek Mine offices. All required records were on site and up to <br />date at the time of the inspection. The DRMS Availability of Records is attached to this inspection report. <br />EXPLOSIVES - Rule 4.08 <br />? Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control of Adverse Effects 4.08.4: <br />Blasting drills were on site at the time of the inspection. The Peabody Sage Creek Mine is approved to conduct <br />blasting activities for both portal excavation and other construction and operational activities. The initial <br />construction activities at the time of the inspection were limited to topsoil removal and the construction of the <br />approved sediment control system. Blasting activities have not occurred. <br />Blasting notifications are required to individuals who reside or regularly work within one-half mile of the blast <br />area. Blasting signs will be placed on all major access roads leading to the blasting area and all mine entrances <br />during active blasting operations at least ten days prior to any blast.
