State PROOF OF PUBLICATION NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Colorado Division of Rec lamation, Mining and Safety pro poses to Approve Permit Re newal Application No. 7 (RN-7), submitted by McClane Canyon Mining, LLC for a coal mining permit at the McClane Canyon Mine (Permit No. C;,IW-004). The proposed atrewal WTfl-at" f -tow-for continued mining and/or reclamation operations at the site. The McClane Canyon Mine is to cated in Garfield County, ap proximately 1.9 miles north of Loma, Colorado. Coal interest at this underground mine is Fed eral and Private, and the sur face to be affected is Federal and Private land. The permit area encompasses approxi mately 2,560.50 acres. This proposed decision is based ca a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all re quirements of the Colorado Sur face Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 33 101 at seq., C.R.S., and the regulations pro mulgated thereunder. A copy of the "Proposed Deci sion and Findings of Compli ance", including any stipulations, is on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Recta mation, Mining and Safety, Room 215 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colo rado 80203, and at the Mesa County Clerk's Office, 544 Rood Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81502.5007. Persons with an in terest that may be adversely at fected by the proposed deci slon may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the pro posed decision. Such request must be made within thirty (30) days of the initial publication of this notice, must be in writing, and must state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and the objections to the proposed decision.
