<br />State PROOF OF PUBLICATION <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED <br />DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Rec <br />lamation, Mining and Safety pro <br />poses to Approve Permit Re <br />newal Application No. 7 (RN-7), <br />submitted by McClane Canyon <br />Mining, LLC for a coal mining <br />permit at the McClane Canyon <br />Mine (Permit No. C;,IW-004). <br />The proposed atrewal WTfl-at" <br />f -tow-for continued mining and/or <br />reclamation operations at the <br />site. <br />The McClane Canyon Mine is to <br />cated in Garfield County, ap <br />proximately 1.9 miles north of <br />Loma, Colorado. Coal interest <br />at this underground mine is Fed <br />eral and Private, and the sur <br />face to be affected is Federal <br />and Private land. The permit <br />area encompasses approxi <br />mately 2,560.50 acres. <br />This proposed decision is based <br />ca a finding that the proposed <br />operation will comply with all re <br />quirements of the Colorado Sur <br />face Coal Mining Reclamation <br />Act, Section 34 33 101 at seq., <br />C.R.S., and the regulations pro <br />mulgated thereunder. <br />A copy of the "Proposed Deci <br />sion and Findings of Compli <br />ance", including any stipulations, <br />is on file for public inspection at <br />the Colorado Division of Recta <br />mation, Mining and Safety, Room <br />215 Centennial Building, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Denver, Colo <br />rado 80203, and at the Mesa <br />County Clerk's Office, 544 Rood <br />Avenue, Grand Junction, CO <br />81502.5007. Persons with an in <br />terest that may be adversely at <br />fected by the proposed deci <br />slon may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board on the pro <br />posed decision.
