6WIErr tm - N <br />STORM WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT PLAN <br />PURPOSE: To provide a set of Best Practice site management procedures to control the severity <br />and extent of soil erosion and pollutant transport during the life of the mining operation. <br />Performance Criteria: There is no anticipated discharge of water from the site. If there is an incidental <br />discharge the company will comply with the Colorado State Act to ensure that no detrimental impacts <br />on water quality and the environment occur. There is no anticipated released water. There are no solids, <br />no chemicals, no oils and grease and no visible litter that would be washed or blown from the site to <br />reach an upstream or downstream body of water. <br />Responsibility: Jubilee Venture, LLC will be responsible for the implementation of the water quality <br />monitoring program and the storm water management plan. <br />Implementation Strategy: All permitted affected land will be reclaimed as required by the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety and the Bureau of Land Management. <br />Clean-up of general site litter on a weekly basis and prior to anticipated heavy rainfall and after <br />significant rainfall events. <br />Revegetation will occur after each mined panel and will be consistent with the requirements established <br />by the Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety and the Bureau of Land Management. <br />Only appropriate herbicides and fertilizers to be used. <br />The storage and handling of flammable and combustible liquids is managed in accordance with current <br />federal and state regulations. <br />Monitoring: Erosion and sediment control measures to be inspected daily by the site manager or <br />nominated representative during periods of runoff producing rainfall and de-silted, repaired as <br />appropriate to maintain water quality objectives. <br />1. Daily Site Inspections during periods of runoff-producing rainfall and will include: <br />All drainage, erosion and sediment control measures <br />Occurrences of excessive sediment deposition on site or off site <br />All site discharge points (There are none) <br />2. Weekly site inspections must include: <br />All drainage, erosion and sediment control measures <br />Occurrences of excessive sediment deposition whether on or off site <br />Occurrences of construction materials, liter or sediment places, deposited , washed or <br />blown from the site, including deposition by vehicular movements. <br />Litter and waste receptors <br />oil, fuel and chemical storage areas <br />3. Site inspections immediately prior to run off producing rainfall must include the following: <br />All drainage erosion and sediment control measures <br />All temporary flow diversions and drainage works. <br />??K-I6
