All pipes appear to be functioning.
Small flow was observed in the south set of culverts; no water was flowing in the north set. There is minor
erosion at the downstream side of the north set of culverts and one of the pipes of the southern set is almost buried
at the downstream side(water was flowing through it).
At the loadout, the pond contained a significant amount of water, but no discharge was observed exiting the
primary spillway pipe. No compliance issues were identified with the pond. The following areas were inspected:
the embankment, both spillways, and the channels below the spillways. As before, willows and some burrows
were observed on the embankment, but these issues do not pose an immediate threat to the stability of the
embankment.
The ditch along the southwest side of the loadout contained several inches of water.
GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE:
The mine was found to be in general compliance with the permit.
RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15,Rule 3:
The two four=acre parcels at the mine site and the loadout appeared to be in good condition as no erosion
or large bare areas were observed.
SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02:
The entrance signs were found to be in compliance as they were intact and the necessary information was visible
despite graffiti.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4
Page 2 of 5
