After internal review, CDOW
remains supportive with the agreement made on September 28, 2010 between Colowyo, CDRMS, and
CDOW.
Specifically, CDOW agrees that Colowyo should be allowed to a reduction in the total acres of Aspen
and Tall Shrub plant communities to be established if the one-acre field trials proposed in TR-84 are
successful. Based upon Colowyo's proposed reduction in overall disturbance at South Taylor, CDOW
supports Colowyo's current proposal to establish 18 acres of aspen and 12 acres of tall shrub. CDOW
also agrees the one-acre sites associated with the field trials should count towards Colowyo's overall
established acreage requirements.
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, Mike King, Executive Director
WILDLIFE COMMISSION, Tim Glenn, Chair • Robert Streeter, Vice Chair • Mark Smith, Secretary
Members, David R.
