MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD 110(2) ANNUAL REPORT <br />For Season 2010 <br />COLORADO CALUMET COMPANY INCORPORATED <br />PERMIT NO. M-2006-034 <br />Submitted: 2 June 2011 <br />Summary: <br />Colorado Calumet Company Inc. operated mechanized equipment on the Blue Streak No. <br />2 in Teller County, Colorado from 15 through 17 July 2010 to produce amazonite, smoky <br />quartz, fluorite, goethite, and other related pegmatite mineral specimens. Machinery broke <br />down preventing operations planned for 7 days. A John Deere 690 track hoe was used. The <br />road connecting Site C with Site D was reclaimed. Only Site L remains open. <br />Map Depicting Operations: <br />Attached is a map which shows the four claims covered under this mining permit. The 14 <br />permitted excavation sites are labeled by letters A through N and are indicated by dashed <br />lines, either rectangular or circular, on the map. An orange area within a permitted site <br />indicates an open excavation where work will resume during next season. Presently there <br />is one at Site L. Green shaded areas are excavations that have been refilled, recontoured, <br />and reseeded. Blue shaded areas indicate reclamation over 80 percent regrowth. Sites A <br />and B on Blue Streak No. 2 are considered to have 80 percent regrowth. <br />Current Disturbances (2010 <br />A small prospect at Site C on the Blue Streak No. 2 was closed and reseeded. <br />Approximately 0.18 acre remains open at Site L on the Blue Streak No. 1. The access road <br />also remains open. No new acreage was disturbed. <br />Reclamation Accomplished to Date (Including 2010): <br />A total of 1.55 acres has been disturbed and reclaimed since 2006. This does not include <br />the access roads connecting Sites A, B, C, D, and E. The access road to Site D remains <br />open. <br />Reclamation Accomplished During 2010: <br />The access road connecting Site C and D was reclaimed as was a small prospect within the <br />road. This area was reseeded and contoured to prevent erosion.
