BOX 1750 <br />Canon City, CO 81215 <br />Re: Schwartzwalder Mine, Permit No. M-1977-300, Technical Revision TR-17 Denial <br />Dear Mr. Whicker: <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining, & Safety (Division) received Cotter Corporation's <br />(Cotter) request for Technical Revision TR-17 pertaining to in-situ treatment of the mine pool. <br />Cotter is under a Mined Land Reclamation Board Order to dewater the mine pool and treat the <br />dewatering effluent. See August 11, 2010 Board Order. In situ treatment of the mine pool does <br />not constitute dewatering and treatment of the mine pool.
