Standing water was observed in
Sediment Pond 2 and the B Pit(the Dugout Pond was not observed closely enough to see if it contained standing
water). Neither pond was discharging. No problems were observed with the two ponds, the pit,or any other
stormwater infrastructure.
ROADS—Rule 4.03:
The roads between Sediment Pond 2 and the B Pit and between the B Pit and the Dugout Pond were observed
during the inspection and found to be stable and well graded. The ditches were functioning, and no compliance
issues were identified.
RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15,Rule 3:
Much of the site was viewed from a vehicle. Areas 29, 30,and 31 were observed on foot. Area 31 still has large
bare areas(it was seeded in 2009),and cheat grass was prevalent in many areas, however no compliance issues
were identified.
SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04:
Observations during the inspection indicated that the facilities, including the shop and yard, are in good shape.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4
Page 2 of 4
