period may be determined by the formula W = (D /Ds) where W = the <br />maximum weight of explosives, in pounds, that can be detonated in any <br />8- millisecond period ; D = the distance, in feet, from the blast to the <br />nearest dwelling, school, church, or community or institutional building; <br />and Ds = the scaled- distance factor, which is 55 for distances from the <br />blast site of 301 to 5,000 feet and 65 for 5001 feet and beyond. <br />For a dwelling located one half mile from the blast site, the maximum <br />weight of explosives to be detonated within any 8- millisecond period <br />equals 2,304 pounds. <br />(viii) The permanent explosive and cap storage areas are shown on Map <br />11, Sheet 3 — Facilities. <br />TR -57 Exh 26 -6 04/11 <br />
