6. 2.03.4 7 - Surface and subsurface ownership contiguous to permit area <br />a) Rule 2.03.4(7) requires each application to contain the names and addresses of the <br />owners of record of all surface and subsurface areas contiguous to any part of the <br />proposed permit area. In comparing the Surface owners listed in the text with those <br />shown on Map 2.03.4-1, the Division notes a number of discrepancies. Owners of <br />parcels 13, 42, 49, 52 and 55 are listed, but these parcels do not appear to be contiguous <br />to the permit area. Similarly, there are certain parcels that are contiguous to the permit <br />area, that are not identified in the text (parcels 3, 47, 59, 64, 65, and 67). Please revise <br />the Surface Ownership list in Section 2.03.4(7) to include each (and only each) parcel <br />that is contiguous to the permit area. Please ensure that the name(s) given on the map <br />are consistent with the names provided in the text. <br />Response - Both Map 2.03.4-1 and text in Section 2. 03.4(7) have been revised to <br />conform to the request. <br />b) In like manner, the parcels for which Oil, Gas and Minerals Ownership is listed in the <br />text do not entirely correlate with the designations shown on Map 2.03.4-2. Parcels <br />listed which do not appear to be contiguous are 49 and 50. Missing from the list is <br />ownership information for Parcels 10, 42, 47, 51, 53, 54, 58, 59, 64, 65, and 67. Please <br />revise the Oil, Gas and Minerals Ownership list in Section 2.03.4(7) to include each <br />(and only each) parcel that is contiguous to the permit area. Please ensure that the <br />name(s) given on the map are consistent with the names provided in the text. <br />Response - The text has been corrected. Map 2.03.4-2 has also been revised for <br />Glasier (no. 56). <br />c) For both Surface and Oil, Gas and Minerals sections of 2.03.4(7), a listing of lessees has <br />been provided. The rules do not require that this information be included. <br />Response - The listing of the lessees for oil, gas and minerals has been deleted in <br />Section 2.03.4(7) <br />d) Tables at the bottom of Maps 2.03.4-1 and 2.03.4-2 identify several properties for <br />which WFC is the lessee. Several of the parcels listed appear to be those within the <br />New Horizon (NI-12) permit area. Please remove lease information that does not pertain <br />to the NHN permit. <br />Response - The information not required by Rule 2.03.4(7) has been removed in <br />Maps 2.03.4-1 and 2.0.4-2.7 <br />Subsection 2.03.4(9) - Applicant's interests in lands contiguous to permit area <br />The permit lists three land owners with whom WFC is discussing future mining of their <br />properties. In addition to the names, please provide the map designation numbers for each <br />property involved. <br />Response - The requested information has been provided in Subsection 2.03.4(9). <br />2.03.5 - Compliance Information <br />Response to First Adequacy Review Page 4
