6 (FORM 2 - Public filing) <br />8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re-establishment of <br />vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br />Topsoil depth is estimated to range from zero to locally 12 inches. Where present, topsoil <br />will be salvaged and stockpiled adjacent to drill pads and roads. Once drill pads and roads <br />are recon oure an scarified, the salvaged topsoil will be redistributed over the final <br />graded areas. For reelarnation pdrpeses, it is assurned that 4 to 6 inches of topsoil will be <br />a) ailable for redic+ Ilium <br />9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures): <br />Drill holes will be abandoned in their entirety upon completion of each drill hole. All drill holes <br />will be completely filled with abandonite, and or, bentonite, cement grout or concrete to <br />prevent any vertical unovernent of groundwater within the drill hole, as well as to eliminate a <br />pest expleFatien daRger to peeple and wildlife that may tFayeFse the aFea. The , <br />and or, bentonite grout concrete will be placed "bottom-up" in each drill hole. A 10 to 20 foot <br />cement plug will cap each drill hole. The plug will ensure that any settlement of the <br />a an onite, entonite, grout or concrete in the hole will not affect the long-term effectiveness <br />and integrity of the plugging proceduie. Topsoil vvill be spread ovel tile plug. <br />10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for <br />specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications. <br />Not applicable <br />11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre-prospecting (or better) condition: <br />Will be left mp place or at the antrance to the tomporaqj, low-staPd-2-rd <br />access roads to close them to motorized travel at the conclusion of the exploration <br />program. Disturbed areas (roads and drill pads) will be returned back to the contour and <br />topography present prior to the propose disturbance. Compacted areas will be loosened <br />include the installation of water bars where necessary to prevent degradation of the <br />reclaimed area. <br />
