The topography slopes upward and the gravel deposit is essentially horizontal. Therefore, <br />as the mining activity moves into that area, additional material shall be available. <br />The other source is a stockpile of earthen material located on the southeast side of the Existing <br />Bettger Pit, where the access road enters the mine site. It is approximately 10 feet high by 15 <br />feet wide and 300 feet long. It was allowed to be placed on site by the property owner, by <br />persons other than Duckels Construction. <br />We believe these two sources of material are sufficient to meet future reclamation needs for final <br />pit backfill, in the unlikely event of permit forfeiture. <br />Cc: Duckels Construction <br />Attn: Fred Duckels <br />Respectfully, <br />H.
