Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) will be presenting to the board a possible <br />failure to comply violation for the JD-8 Mine, a 112d-1 uranium mine. On October 21, 2010, the Division <br />notified Cotter Corporation that an Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) was required to be submitted <br />within 180 days. On April 19, 2011, the 180th day, Cotter failed to submit the EPP. To date, the plan has <br />not been submitted. <br />The following documents have been included in the Board Packet: <br />1. DRMS Inspection Report, 9-23-10 <br />2. DRMS notification of EPP requirement, 10-21-10 <br />3. DRMS clarification of EPP submittal date, 12-7-10 <br />4.
