EXHIBIT M-1
JUBILEE VENTURE LLC
EAGLE MINE PROJECT
HISTORY OF SEC. 2 T.10 N., R.92 W
The State History Preservation Office for Colorado has temporarily suspended any action on
applications for information regarding historical, archaeological, or anthropological data
requests until the new Colorado History Museum is constructed and offices moved in. At that
time normal business can be conducted.
Gold was discovered on Fortification Creek in 1882 but no significant production came from the
area. Beginning in 1891, however, and until World War II, considerable placer mining activity
took place in what was called the Fourmile District. Timberlake Creek, along which Jubilee
Venture proposed Eagle Mine will be located (in Sec. 2, T. 10 N., R.92 W. ) was a very active part
of the Fourmile District right up to the 2nd World War. Part of the proposed Eagle Mine area
includes formerly worked dredge deposits.
There are no known historical, archaeological, or anthropological occurrences which would
meet the requirements for preservation by the State Historic Preservation Office. If any
occurrences are encountered all work will cease and the proper authorities would be notified.
